Serving No Good Function

Ps 31:23-24 “Love the Lord, all his saints!  The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full.  Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

 Father I am a husk without your spirit, I am blown here and there, without any value, and serving no good function when you are not firmly planted inside of me.  I am one that is prone to wander, that does not restrain my feet (Jeremiah 14:10) yet I pray that you would accept me and forgive my sinfulness, find no wickedness in me when you are through with me Lord.  Lord cleanse me with the Blood of the Spotless Lamb, and redeem me with the high price you paid for me… 

 

Over and over I fail you, yet you are steadfast in your love for me.  Thank you for the Grace you pour out on me every day.  May today only be different in that I become a little more like you.
